I’ve been to a lot of resorts that like to claim eco-props but I’ve never seen a hotel that gathers its glass and recycles it on site. At Sundance Resort, they gather their wine and beer bottles behind the art studios–so I spied this from the window during my pottery class.

The new glass is used daily in all three restaurants and cafes, and I spied more at the spa.
The pottery teacher told me that they were thinking of making a class of it, too, along with the pottery, drawing and jewelry making already offered. I guess the dangers of melting and blowing glass were just a little too high for a luxury resort.
